<p>PURPOSE: A lift apparatus for a variable valve is provided to improve the layout of the apparatus by minimizing the operation range of an oscillating cam and a rocker arm. CONSTITUTION: A lift apparatus for a variable valve comprises a cam shaft(100), a rocker arm(200), a variable cam(300), and an oscillating cam(400). The cam shaft is conencted to a crank shaft and is rotated with the crank shaft. An eccentric cam(110) is integrally formed in the cam shaft. The rocker arm is installed to cover the outer surface of the eccentric cam and is individually rotated. The variable cam is connected to the rocker arm and horizontally moves the cam shaft. The oscillating cam is connected to the rocker arm and presses a valve tappet when the rocker arm is rotated.</p> |
