摘要 <p>The present invention relates to an alternator for a vehicle, an electricity generation control apparatus, and a control method using the same, wherein the alternator comprises a main body including a rotor and a stator in the inside; a pulley installed at one end of the main body to be connected to a crank shaft pulley of an engine by a belt; and a connecting unit installed within the pulley to selectively connect the pulley and the rotor. The connecting unit includes a magnetic coil receiving current and generating magnetic force, and a connecting member selectively engaged with the pulley by the magnetic force generated by the magnetic coil. The alternator for the vehicle, the electricity generation control apparatus, and the control method using the same control the pulley to be disconnected from the rotor in the alternator by using the connecting unit to stop driving the alternator if the battery is fully charged when the engine is operated, and the pulley to be connected to the rotor again in the alternator to generate electricity if calculated usage time has passed.</p>
