According to the present invention, an oligonucleotide for species-specific detection of Fusarium culmorum by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) comprises one or more primer sets selected from a group of primer sets including a forward primer and a reverse primer composed of oligonucleotide sequences of SEQ NO: 1 (FculPiPnF/p1), SEQ NO: 2 (FculPiPnF/p1), SEQ NO: 3 (FculPiPnF/p1), and SEQ NO: 4 (FculTri101nR/p1) or the oligonucleotide sequences of SEQ NO: 1 to 4 and a complementary sequence. In addition, the present invention provides a kit for detecting F. culmorum including the oligonucleotide set. The combination of the primers according to the present invention is capable of quickly detecting and identifying a F. culmorum strain contaminating various grain samples.
