SOS TRANSMITTING APPARATUS EQUIPPED IN A LIFE VEST

The present invention relates to an SOS transmission device and, more particularly, to an SOS transmission device equipped in a life vest which can rescue a survivor first and thus increase a survival rescue rate by being installed in the heart position of a life vest to sense heartbeats of the survivor in distress, determine whether the survivor is alive or not, and transmit an SOS signal. The SOS transmission device of the present invention comprises: a piezoelectric sensor which is in close contact with the body of a victim to sense heartbeats when wearing a life vest; a pushing means which provides pushing force to make the piezoelectric sensor in close contact with the body of the victim; a controller which determines whether the victim is alive or not by calculating the heartbeats sensed by the piezoelectric sensor; a GPS receiver which receives a GPS signal to provide position information to the controller; and a communications unit which transmits position and alive determination result signals generated by the controller.
