The present invention relates to a compression wastebasket with a foldable handle, which can compress waste by making a handle stand and pressing a plate attached to the lower part of a cover. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the compression wastebasket which can prevent foul materials when compressing waste, can prevent accidents of bumping into a compression unit, can facilitate covering a plastic bag, can use cheap products by minimizing the amount of materials, and can continuously compress waste through a simple manipulation. To achieve the above purposes, the compression wastebasket comprises: a container (10) which collects waste; a cover (20) which covers the container (10); a handle (21) which is inserted into a groove positioned at the top center of the cover (20); a fixating hole (24) which fixates protrusions on both sides of the handle (21) body positioned on the bottom surface of the cover; a compression plate (23) which is positioned below the cover (20); and a connecting unit (22) which is attached to the top surface of the compression plate (23) for connecting the handle (21) to the compression plate (23). |
