<p>The present invention relates to a parking notification device for a vehicle and a method for operating the same, capable of performing a parking notification instead of leaving a personal contact such as a phone number in a vehicle. The parking notification device comprises: a parking display unit to display signs of parking, a driver absence, or a call available to a driver; a driver call detection unit to detect whether to call the driver of the parked vehicle; a control unit to generate a driver call notification control signal and a driver call control signal according to the detection of the driver call detection unit; a memory unit to store driver call notification data, a personal contact of the driver to be called, and a driver call message; a driver call notification unit to read and output the driver call notification data stored in the memory unit according to the driver call notification control signal generated by the control unit; and a driver call unit to read the personal contact and the driver call message stored in the memory unit according to the driver call control signal generated by the control unit and to transmit the read driver call message to the read personal contact.</p> |
