LIGHT GUIDE PLATE HAVING LIGHT ENTERANCE EDGE, EXTRUDER DEVICE AND METHOD THEREOF

The objective of the present invention is to manufacture a light guide plate constituting a backlight unit (BLU) of a liquid crystal display (LCD) by extrusion. A device for extruding a light guide plate having an integrated light diffusion prism unit according to an embodiment of the present invention, which is a device for extruding a light guide plate of a BLU, comprises: an extruder to extrude an injected resin material into a plate-shaped light guide plate base; a light guide plate forming device to integrally and protrusively form at least one light incident unit on the upper surface of the light guide plate base by passing the light guide plate base between rolls which are spaced apart from each other and rotate in opposite directions; a cooler to cool a light guide plate which is transferred after the light incident unit is formed on the upper surface thereof; a cutter to cut the light guide plate, which is transferred after being cooled by the cooler, to a predetermined length perpendicularly to the extrusion direction of the light guide plate; a pattern forming device to form a pattern on the back surface of the light guide plate; and a cutting device to cut the light guide plate of a predetermined size from the light guide plate base by cutting the edge of the light guide plate base except the center in the longitudinal direction of the light incident unit and the light incident unit.
