PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus in which a sheet fed by manual feed is stably transported to a print position.SOLUTION: A multifunctional machine includes: a recording head for recording on a manually fed sheet; a feed roller pair for grip-feeding the sheet by rotating in a forward direction: a motor for rotating the feed roller pair; a given mechanism for not operating when the feed roller pair rotate in the forward direction and operating, by means of drive force of the motor, when the feed roller pair rotate in a reverse direction; and a control device for controlling the motor drive. Further, the control device operates the given mechanism by causing the feed roller pair to rotate in the forward direction and then to rotate in the reverse direction, with the sheet sandwiched thereby, when operating the given mechanism. |
