PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable rice cooking according to a residual quantity in a storage tank.SOLUTION: A rice cooker includes: a rice cooking pot; rice feeding means having a cooking rice storage tank for storing cooking rice to be put in the rice cooking pot and cooking rice feeding means (push-out member) for feeding the cooking rice to the rice cooking pot; water feeding means (water feeding member) for feeding water to the rice cooking pot; capacity selection means (automatic rice cooking switch 74) capable of selecting a desired capacity of rice cooked by the rice cooking pot; cooking rice residual quantity detection means 57 for detecting the residual quantity in the cooking rice storage tank; rice cooking capacity setting means that corrects the desired capacity of cooked rice by a cookable capacity by a detected value of the cooking rice residual quantity detection means 57 and sets a rice cooking capacity Cc; and rice cooking control means (microcomputer 76) that executes rice cooking processing, by feeding cooking rice and water to the rice cooking pot based on the rice cooking capacity by the rice cooking capacity setting means (microcomputer 76), and heating the rice cooking pot by heating means (induction heating coil 13). |
