PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a revetment structure and a construction method thereof that can maintain a superior strength for a long period of time, and further, never obstructs activities of neighborhood inhabitants and can be constructed while maintaining a water flow of a river smoothly.SOLUTION: Steel sheet pile walls 4 are placed on the ground at the rear of existing revetments 3 formed on both sides of a river, and then struts 5 are installed on the heads of the steel sheet pile walls 4 and laid on a river. Next, the existing revetments 3 are removed, and further rebar concrete walls 7 are installed in the river side of the steel sheet pile walls 4. Then, the rebar concrete walls 7 are connected with the steel sheet pile walls 4 by shear keys, and further the struts 5 are removed after river-bed bodies 8 are brought into abutment with the rebar concrete walls 7 and installed in the bottom part of the river. |
