<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an after-processing device capable of appropriately heating a leading edge of a folded portion of a sheet.SOLUTION: In a structure in which, while an engaging part 251 of a supporting member supporting a heating part 87 engages with a slot 243 provided on a first heater supporting member 204 along a sheet conveyance direction, the engaging part is urged toward an opposite direction to the sheet conveyance direction by the urging force of a torsion spring 206, a double-folded sheet bundle Sb is conveyed by a pair of folding rollers 8a (time t1). When the pair of folding rollers 8a are suspended for heating a leading edge Sa of the double-folded sheet bundle Sb, the leading edge Sa of a folded portion of the sheet bundle Sb pushes a heating part 87 in the sheet conveyance direction until the conveyance is suspended, thereby moving the engaging part 251 within the movable range of the slot 243 in the sheet conveyance direction against the urging force of the torsion spring 206 (time t2). This absorbs variation in conveyance distance. After the conveyance of the sheet bundle Sb is suspended, the leading edge Sa is heated while being in contact with the heating part 87.</p> |
