PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for electrode formation which allows a secondary battery superior in charge and discharge cycle characteristics to be formed, and which can achieve good dispersibility with an active material and a conductive assistant.SOLUTION: A composition for secondary battery electrode formation comprises: an electrode active material (A); a carbon material(B) serving as a conductive assistant; and at least two kinds of dispersant (C) which can form an interaction by a proton donative and electron donative functional group, or a proton non-donative and electron donative functional group, provided that the interaction is an interaction between a proton donative site and an electron donating site, or an interaction between electron donative sites. The composition for secondary battery electrode formation is produced by: producing a composition (D1) by dispersing at least one of the electrode active material (A) and the carbon material(B) serving as a conductive assistant by one of the at least two kinds of dispersant (C); producing a composition (D2) by dispersing at least one of the electrode active material (A) and the carbon material(B) serving as a conductive assistant by another one of the at least two kind of dispersant (C); and mixing the composition (D1) and the composition (D2) together. |
