PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covering depth measuring apparatus capable of measuring covering depths of a reinforcing-bar and a form of a reinforced concrete structure so that measurement can be accurately performed with numeral display while sequentially changing a required depth position.SOLUTION: An inventive covering depth measuring apparatus is configured in such a manner that: a measuring device 3 including measurement plates 13, 13' oppositely arranged via a pantagraph-type member 9 expanding interlocked with actuation of an air cylinder 10 and an encoder 26 set to measure a gap between external surfaces of the measurement plates and a handheld device 2 including an indication panel 5 receiving a signal from the encoder of the measuring device and numerically displaying and an end connection of an air pump 7 actuating the air cylinder 10 are connected through a flexible tube 9 having an air path a and a signal path b; the measuring device is inserted into a measuring place of a required depth by setting the measuring device connected to the handheld device by a flexible tube to an optional length; and an accurate covering depth can be measured at the depth. |
