PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device that enables target color reproduction while keeping image structure quality of images to be recorded on different regions of a recording paper.SOLUTION: Test charts are recorded respectively on different regions of a recording paper. Densities of the respective test chart are measured to be memorized cumulatively. A lower allowable density limit value as a lower density limit value with which quality of the images to be recorded on the recording paper can be kept is previously memorized. A lower limit central value of variation in the respective densities of the respective test charts is calculated. When the least central value among the respective central values is equal to the lower allowable density limit value or more, the least central value is determined as a target value T for a density of the images to be recorded on the recording paper. When the least lower limit value is less than the lower allowable density limit value, the lower allowable density limit value is determined as the target value T. Based on the target value T, a density correction value is calculated for correcting the densities of the respective images, and based on the respective correction values, densities of the images to be recorded respectively on the different regions of the recording paper are corrected. |
