PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it has been conventionally impossible to select necessary information, such as earthquake information, among digitally broadcast character strings and send the selected information to people who need it.SOLUTION: Provided is an information transfer device, comprising: a reception unit for receiving a digital broadcast; a character string acquisition unit for acquiring a character string from the digital broadcast received by the reception unit; a determination unit for determining whether the content or attribute of the character string acquired by the character string acquisition unit satisfies a predetermined condition; and a transfer unit for transferring the character string determined by the determination unit that the predetermined condition is satisfied, the information transfer device making it possible to select necessary information, such as earthquake information, among the digitally broadcast character strings and send the selected information to people who need it.
