<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suppressing the pressure fluctuation in a cooling tower during red-hot coke loading so as to prevent an occurrence of scattering in the vicinity of a loading inlet.SOLUTION: The pressure in a cooling tower 11 is controlled by automatic PID control. When a loading lid 2 is opened for starting the loading operation of red-hot coke 1, a control part 17 memorizes the initial opening degree of a pressure control valve 10 and sets the opening degree of the pressure control valve 10 to a prescribed normal opening degree. After loading operation of the red hot coke 1, the control part 17 monitors the pressure in the cooling tower 11 and compares the measured pressure value with a prescribed determination value. When the measured pressure value is equal to or larger than the determination value, the opening degree of the pressure control valve 10 is controlled to an opening degree larger than the normal opening degree by a prescribed opening degreeα. The adjustment of the opening degree is repeated until the pressure in the cooling tower 11 reaches a value less than the determination value. When the pressure is less than the determination value, the comparison is repeated until the loading lid 2 is closed. The determination value may be within a prescribed range. When the loading lid 2 is closed, the opening degree of the pressure control valve 10 is set to the initial opening degree, and the control of the pressure in the cooling tower 11 is returned to the automatic PID control.</p> |
