<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a method for sorting a plurality of laundry items, in particular dirty laundry items, which is automated at least for the most part.SOLUTION: In a method for sorting a plurality of laundry items 10, in particular dirty laundry items, the laundry items 10 are suspended from a conveying system 16, are conveyed by the conveying system to at least one sorting device, and are sorted in the sorting device according to information about each laundry item 10. In the method, each laundry item 10 is suspended from a conveying member 34 assigned to the conveying system 16. The information about each laundry item 10 is transmitted to a memory assigned to the conveying member 34. Each laundry item 10, together with the conveying member 34 which is assigned thereto and has the information about the laundry item 10 suspended from the conveying member 34, is conveyed by the conveying system 16 at least to the sorting device and/or through the sorting device.</p> |
