PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplification device, a distortion compensation method and a distortion compensation program that implement appropriate distortion compensation at a low cost and with low power consumption in a configuration adopting a DPD-based distortion compensation system.SOLUTION: A transmission section 401 includes: a power amplifier 164; a distortion-compensated signal generation section 21 in a distortion compensation section 161 for distortion-compensating the power amplifier 164 on the basis of a single control function or a linear combination of a plurality of control functions; an operational information acquisition section 168 for acquiring operational information indicating an operational condition of the power amplifier 164; and a coefficient updating section 22 in the distortion compensation section 161 for acquiring a coefficient of the control function according to the operational information acquired by the operational information acquisition section 168. The coefficient updating section 22 updates the coefficient of the control function to the acquired coefficient, and the distortion-compensated signal generation section 21 distortion-compensates the power amplifier 164 on the basis of the updated control function.
