<p>The present utility model relates to a reinforced structural component adapted to be used as a post or a beam, or in combination thereof for building structures and the like comprising an elongated tubular main body being formed by interconnected pairs of adjoining sidewalls; a first reinforcing means being secured to the inner surface of said side adjoining side walls of said tubular main body; and a second reinforcing means being provided within said tubular main body and disposed adjacently with said first reinforcing means; wherein said first reinforcing means being made of biodegradable material, said adjoining sidewalls of said tubular main body being made df non-biodegradable material and said second reinforcing means being made of metal.</p> |
