PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress loosening of a fastened flange nut.SOLUTION: A flange nut 1 includes a nut body 2 and a flange 3 that is formed in and integrally with one axial-direction end portion of the nut body 2 and has a fastening surface 3b. The flange 3 has such a structure (such as a tapered surface 4) that a maximum surface pressure generated between the fastening surface 3b and a fastening target member 14 is equal to or less than a threshold value obtained by subtracting a predetermined margin from one of a yield stress of the flange 3 and a yield stress of the fastening target member 14, which has a smaller value. |
