PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost drive controller of a compressor capable of performing subsequent position detection even if the PWM duty is brought to 0 in a section where the load torque of a compressor is hardly generated, and to provide an air conditioner.SOLUTION: In a drive controller for controlling the driving of a compressor, the PWM duty is brought to 0 in a predetermined period after position detection for a predetermined electrification section during operation process of the compressor, and chopping is not performed. Upon elapsing the predetermined period, chopping is performed while minimizing the PWM duty thus allowing position detection. |
