PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a fuel injection nozzle for a common rail having high responsiveness by injecting a fuel by opening an injection hole by directly releasing an injection hole closing valve force of a needle valve by a pressing spring by an actuator and increasing the number of times of injections in a cycle of an engine.SOLUTION: A piezo actuator 3 as an actuator is disposed in a state of being supported by a nozzle body 1 at one end portion 36, and opposed to a flange portion 35 of a push rod 5 at the other end portion 37, at the circumference of the push rod 5 in the nozzle body 1. The push rod 5 is lifted in a valve opening direction by force according to prescribed expansion of the piezo actuator 3. That is, a needle valve 2 lifts the push rod 5 by energization of the piezo actuator 3 to release spring force of a pressing spring 7 from the needle valve 2, and an injection hole 17 is opened by a fuel pressure in a state that the needle valve 2 is free. |
