PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of high reliability by preventing failure that an engine is not started from rotation stop.SOLUTION: A control device 1 is provided with a starter relay including at least two relays 30, 32 directly connected to switch conduction and non-conduction of a starter motor 36 and a power source to start an engine, and a microcomputer 40. The microcomputer 40 controls the starter relay so that the starter motor 36 and the power source are conducted in starting the engine, stops the engine on the basis of establishment of a prescribed stop condition, restarts the engine on the basis of establishment of a prescribe restarting condition, and continuously operates at least one relay to diagnose failure of the starter relay by a time when the restarting condition is established after a stop command of the engine. |
