<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the accumulation of stain on a magnetic head.SOLUTION: A magnetic recording medium reading apparatus 1 comprises: a guide part 2 for guiding a magnetic card C travelling in a reading direction; and a cleaning part 4 provided on a side opposite to the reading direction with respect to a magnetic head 3 of the guide part 2. This allows the cleaning part 4 of the magnetic recording medium reading apparatus 1 to be pressed from an end of the reading direction of the magnetic card C travelling in the guide part 2 and to pass by the magnetic head 3 while being pressed from the magnetic head 3 to a principal surface direction of the magnetic card C. In this case, the cleaning part 4 can clean a reading surface of the magnetic head 3, thereby preventing stains from being attached to and accumulated on the reading surface of the magnetic head 3.</p> |
