<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize seek operation even when a head change seek request is received in a state where a magnetic head is positioned in the vicinity of a zone boundary.SOLUTION: A seek control section 9A once causes magnetic heads H0-H3 to seek a zone servo stable region on which zone servo can be stably performed in a case that the magnetic heads H0-H3 are within a prescribed range from a zone boundary when a head change seek request is received, and then causes the magnetic heads H0-H3 to seek a target position.</p> |
