<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot forging method using rotary forging, which is applicable to a large disc-shaped material.SOLUTION: In the hot forging method, a stationary die 1, a rotary table 2 disposed on the stationary die 1, a lower die 3 disposed on the rotary table 2, and an upper die 5 having a protruded pressing surface for partially pressing a material 4 to be forged are used to perform hot forging of the columnar material 4 to be forged, where hot forging is performed by holding the columnar material 4 to be forged between the upper die 5 and the lower die 3 while rotating the material 4 to be forged to manufacture a disc-shaped material.</p> |
