<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restore synchronous contraction of a cardiac tissue by outputting an appropriate defibrillation pulse when the heart is in a defibrillation state, and defibrillating the heart appropriately.SOLUTION: A defibrillator 1 includes: a pair of electrodes 2a and 2b arranged at the heart; a constant current circuit 8 for supplying a constant current between the pair of the electrodes 2a and 2b; a supply changeover part SW5 that changes over the supply of the constant current from the constant current circuit 8 to a pulse-like constant current; an electric potential difference detection part 9 for detecting an electric potential difference between the pair of the electrodes 2a and 2b; and a control part 7 for adjusting the value of the constant current supplied from the constant current circuit 8 based on the electric potential difference detected by the electric potential difference detection part 9 when the pulse-like constant current is supplied between the pair of the electrodes 2a and 2b by the supply changeover part SW5.</p> |
