PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform control of a multichannel acoustic signal appropriate for a reproduction environment, even in the case where speaker positions are different in a production environment and a reproduction environment of the multichannel acoustic signal, adaptively to a multichannel acoustic system including a plurality of acoustic space layers.SOLUTION: An acoustic signal reproducing device is a reproducing device for a multichannel acoustic signal including a plurality of acoustic space layers and comprises a reproduction channel conversion section for converting an acoustic channel signal included in each acoustic space layer so as to generate a virtual sound image at a speaker position of a production environment of the acoustic channel signal in the case where a speaker position of a reproduction environment is not included within an allowable range for the speaker position of the production environment described in meta data included in the multichannel acoustic signal.
