PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To integrate and manage pieces of information on a plurality of game machines, to downsize the game machine, and to facilitate encryption in communication to prevent fraudulent acts.SOLUTION: A game machine 10 includes: a case 15; a control board 11 which converts game data into a light signal to output it to an optical cable 14 as a serial signal; and a game machine side connection terminal board 12 which has a light emitting section 13, receives the game data from the control board 11 through the optical cable 14, and emits signal light based on the game data to the outside of the casing. At least one of the control board 11 and the game machine side connection terminal board 12 preliminarily stores an encryption program, and executes the encryption program to encrypt the game data. A game system further includes a converter 30 which is arranged in a traveling direction of the signal light emitted from the game machine side connection terminal board 12, receives the signal light, converts the signal light into an electrical signal, and is connected by a cable with an external device so that data communication can be performed. |
