PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crimp contact capable of resolving a problem that electrical connection becomes uncertain because a contact part may interfere with a housing due to a load at cable crimping in a conventional crimp contact.SOLUTION: A crimp contact 1 consists of: a crimp part in which a pair of crimping blades are juxtaposed; an insulator press-fitted part extended and provided at a lower position of the crimp part, and press-fitted to a press-fitting part of a housing of a crimping connector; and a contact part protruded downward from a lower position of the insulator press-fitted part. In the crimp contact 1, a main holding part protruded from a lower end part of the insulator press-fitted part with a proper interval from the contact part and having a holding surface abutting on a bottom face of a recessed part for housing the contact part in the crimping connector at mounting of the crimp contact, is protrusively provided. |
