<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide roll by which a web small in thickness and having an easy-to-slide surface is transported without occurrence of folded wrinkles or scratches and which facilitates maintenance, and a web conveyance apparatus equipped with the same.SOLUTION: A guide roll 5 includes a spiral belt 54a arranged on an outer peripheral surface 52a of the guide roll 5, which extends spirally and symmetrically with a center of a rotation axis direction as a boundary. The spiral belt 54a is positioned toward outside of the rotation axis direction as it goes from the center of the rotation axis direction to a rotation direction. The spiral belt 54a is flush with other portions of the outer peripheral surface 52a except the spiral belt 54a, and has higher friction resistance than the other portions except the spiral belt 54a. Width H of the contact region Z becomes wider as it goes from the center of the rotation axis direction to outside.</p> |
