<p>The present invention relates to a wireless power transmitting apparatus and a wireless power transmitting method and, more particularly, to a wireless power transmitting apparatus and a wireless power transmitting method, capable of supplying wireless power to a plurality of wireless power receiving apparatuses using different wireless power transmitting and receiving methods. According to one aspect of the present invention, provided is the wireless power transmitting apparatus which includes a power transmission module which transmits the wireless power using a magnetic field of any one frequency band among a plurality of preset frequency bands, a communication module which communicates with the wireless power receiving apparatus, and a controller which receives a plurality of device profiles reflecting the frequency band used in the transmission and reception of the wireless power from the wireless power receiving apparatuses and sets a power transmission mode based on the device profiles.</p> |
