The present invention relates to a portable gas burner and, more particularly, to a device capable of obtaining high heating power and smoothly performing combustion at low temperatures or at a high altitude area without the influence of wind by improving a portable burner using gas as a fuel. The portable gas burner according to the embodiment of the present invention includes a body (100), a plurality of support legs (200) which are rotationally fixed on the lower side of the body (100), a gas nozzle (300) which is connected to the bottom of the center of the body (100) and generates a flame by burning the supplied gas, a preheating socket (400), a flame projecting dish (500), and a preheating tube (600) which passes through a preset section of a space between the body (100) and the preheating socket (400).
