FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry of organic compounds and specifically to a method of detecting volatile amines in air. Disclosed is a method of detecting said compounds, based on use of sensor layers with an adsorbed zinc complex of tetraphenylporphyrin (Zn(II)TPP). The method includes illuminating (Zn(II)TPP) adsorbed on a polymer matrix containing polar groups (e.g., OH groups) with light with wavelength of 375 nm. Presence of dimethylamine, trimethylamine or pyridine vapour in the air is determined from fluorescence at a wavelength in the range of 630-660 nm.EFFECT: selective detection of pyridine and aliphatic amines in the presence of other substances in a gaseous phase.2 cl, 5 dwg |
