PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device having a structure to prevent backlash between a gear made of a synthetic resin and a supporting shaft, and a disc device applying the power transmission device.SOLUTION: A load gear 50 is disposed on a power transmission device of a disc device. The load gear 50 is integrally made of a synthetic resin as a whole, and has a large-diameter gear 51 and a small-diameter gear 52. A bearing portion 53 is disposed on a central portion. In the bearing portion 53, a side elastic piece 57 is formed on a part of an outer peripheral wall portion 55, and the bearing portion 53 applies load to an inserted supporting shaft. By having the side elastic piece 57, radial backlash can be prevented, though the gear made of the synthetic resin has a clearance to the supporting shaft under consideration of volume change due to dimensional tolerance and temperature change. |
