PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of more suitably displaying an original image, to provide an image processing method, and to provide an image diagnostic apparatus.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: an original image acquisition unit; a parameter image acquisition unit; and an optical attribute value determination unit. The original image acquisition unit acquires the original image of a subject. The parameter image acquisition unit acquires a parameter image corresponding to the original image. The optical attribute value determination unit determines an optical attribute value for displaying pixels of the original image by a data value of the pixels of the original image and a parameter value of the pixels of the parameter image corresponding to the pixels, on the basis of a predetermined correspondence relation.
