PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support the transmission of quality information of a clock signal in a synchronous Ethernet network.SOLUTION: A communication system 100 is a clock synchronous network in which a plurality of communication devices 12 are synchronized with a clock source 10. Each communication device 12 determines a clock quality level at the self-device. The communication device 12 transmits an Ethernet OAM frame, in which the clock quality level at the self-device is set, to an MEP provided in the other device in the network, to thereby notify the clock quality level of the self-device to the other device. |
