PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection film having excellent hard coat property, transparency, scratch resistance and blocking resistance, and to provide a polarizing plate with an antireflection film and a transmissive liquid crystal display.SOLUTION: The antireflection film comprises a transparent substrate 11, a hard coat layer 12 on at least one surface of the transparent substrate 11, a high refractive index layer 13 on the hard coat layer 12, and a low refractive index layer 14 on the high refractive index layer 13. The high refractive index layer 13 includes high refractive index microparticles 131 and microparticles 132 having an average particle diameter 0.8 to 1.2 times as the total film thickness of the high refractive index layer 13 and the low refractive index layer 14. A refractive index n(Ha) of the hard coat layer 12, a refractive index n(Hi) of the high refractive index layer, and a refractive index n(L) of the low refractive index layer 14 are in a relationship of n(L)<n(Ha)<n(Hi). On a surface of the low refractive index layer 14, the center line average height is 0.003 to 0.020 μm and the average interval of projections and recesses is 0.030 to 1.000 mm; and the antireflection film has a haze value of 0.3% or less. |
