<p>A thermosetting silicone rubber composition that contains a cerium oxide powder in an amount of 0.001 1 to 10 mass % and that is characterized by total transmittance of light equal to or greater than 90% according to JIS K7105 when the light is passed through a 1 mm-thick layer of an alkenyl-containing dimethylpolysiloxane gumwith 0.1 mass % of said cerium oxide powder dispersed in the gum.</p> |
