PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fault diagnosis device which reduces influence on hardware operations from a virtual computer for service, which is caused by hardware operations purposed for diagnosis of computer hardware.SOLUTION: A fault diagnosis device comprises a virtual computer monitor 110 providing a virtual environment in which a virtual computer operates on a computer, an operation virtual machine for service 120 operating on the computer, a diagnosis virtual machine 130 diagnosing computer hardware 100, and a hardware operation surrogate unit 111 which receives an operation request requesting an operation for the computer hardware 100 from the operation virtual machine 120 and executes the operation requested in the operation request, determines whether or not the computer hardware 100 which is an operation object instructed in an operation request has been operated within a predetermined time period when the operation request is received from the diagnosis virtual machine 130, and suppresses execution of the operation requested by the operation request when the hardware has been operated and executes the requested operation when the hardware has not been operated. |
