PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate configuration of a line light source of any length without being restricted by dimensions of substrates provided with light emitting elements.SOLUTION: A line light source device 1 is configured by: disposing a plurality of LED substrates 12 provided with ultraviolet ray LEDs 22 on a flat surface 20B of a long heat sink 10 at predetermined arrangement intervals P; providing wiring connectors 24A, 24B in each of the LED substrates 12; providing a long reflecting surface 50 having an exposure opening 58 for exposing each ultraviolet ray LED 22 of the LED substrates 12 in the flat surface 20B by covering each of the LED substrates 12; and providing a housing space S for housing the wiring connectors 24A, 24B between the flat surface 20B and the reflecting surface 50.
