PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of reducing the rotation of an assist motor, while electrifying two-system coils.SOLUTION: An electric power steering device includes: an assist motor, having a first-system coil and a second-system coil, for generating assist torque; a first-system drive circuit for electrifying the first-system coil of the assist motor; a second-system drive circuit for electrifying the second-system coil of the assist motor; and a control device for controlling the first-system drive circuit and the second-system drive circuit in a manner so that a rotary magnetic field generated by electrifying the first-system coil and a rotary magnetic field generated by electrifying the second-system coil mutually cancel. |
