PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator for performing control so that indoor humidity is within a predetermined range.SOLUTION: During a mist operation in a normal operation mode, when an automatic mode is selected in a humidification level and an air quantity level, an ON/OFF state of a heating heater is switched so that a value obtained by subtracting a temperature sensed by an intake air temperature sensor 25 from a temperature sensed by an air blowing temperature sensor 24 reaches a predetermined value, and rotational frequencies of a mist motor 11 and an air blowing motor 14 are controlled. Thus, by increasing/decreasing the quantity of humidified air including nano-mist and negative ions generated in a water storage chamber 8 and changing the rotational frequency of the air blowing motor 14, the quantity of humidified air supplied from an apparatus body 1 to an indoor side can be increased/decreased, so that indoor humidity can be made within a predetermined range to prevent a dry or excessively humidified state. |
