摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize excellent bonding in consideration of errors caused by thickness and the like of an electrolyte membrane or a catalyst layer when bonding the catalyst layer to the electrolyte membrane used in a fuel cell.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a fuel cell includes the following steps. An electrolyte membrane 12 on a support base material 14 and a catalyst layer 22 on a transfer base material 24 are disposed so as to be mutually faced, passed through between rolls 62, 64, pressed and bonded to each other. The transfer base material 24 is separated from the catalyst layer 22. The catalyst layer 22 is inspected. The rolls 62, 64 are feedback-controlled based on an inspection result of the catalyst 22. After inspecting the catalyst layer 22, the support base material 14 is separated from the electrolyte membrane 12. The electrolyte membrane 12 and a catalyst layer 32 on a transfer base material 34 are disposed so as to be mutually faced, passed through between rolls 82, 84, and pressed, and the catalyst layer 32 is bonded on a side opposite to the catalyst layer 22. The catalyst layer 32 is inspected. The rolls 82, 84 are feedback-controlled based on an inspection result of the catalyst layer 32. The transfer base material 34 is separated from the catalyst layer 32.
