PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core wire processing preparation device capable of planarly aligning a plurality of core wires.SOLUTION: In the core wire processing preparation device, a pusher 33 including a distal end portion 33a in a cone shape is positioned coaxially with a multi-core cable held by a hold sleeve 28 while making the distal end portion 33a opposite to a distal end of the multi-core cable. The distal end portion 33a of the pusher 33 is inserted into a core wire bundle 102, and core wires 103 are expanded. Thereafter, a slide unit is controlled in such a manner that a distal end portion 34a at one end side of a pusher guide 34 presses the plurality of core wires 103. The multi-core cable is rotated while controlling a cable hold part until the pusher guide 34 or the cable hold part reaches a predetermined position where the plurality of core wires 103 pressed by the pusher guide 34 are spread radially without being overlapped with each other. Thus, the core wires 103 of the multi-core cable can be planarly aligned in automation technologies.
