PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic bias tire in which the drive and cornering performances are simultaneously improved, and to provide a method for production thereof.SOLUTION: A pneumatic bias tire is provided with a tread 1, buttress 2, side wall 3 and bead 4, and a carcass layer 5 comprising plural layers including plural carcass cords 5a inclining to a tire circumferential direction is mounted between a pair of beads 4, 4. The inclination angle AB of the carcass cord 5a with respect to the tire circumferential direction in the buttress 2 is made to be larger than that inclination angle AC in the tread 1, and also is made to be larger than that inclination angle AS in the side wall 3. Further, the above inclination angle AC is made to be in the range of 15°≤AC≤40°. |
