PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To indicate sheets of which size should be stored in which sheet storage part, by excluding the sheet storage part which cannot store sheets of a recommended size, in the case where the sheet storage part is not available for storing the sheets of the recommended size corresponding to an image size of a printing object.SOLUTION: A printer specifies a paper feed tray capable of storing printing sheets of a recommended size as an APS object tray (S106), and when the APS object tray is available in which the printing sheets of the recommended size are stored, prints an image on the printing sheets stored in the APS object tray for storing the printing sheets of the recommended size (S109). On the other hand, when the APS object tray in which the printing sheets of the recommended size are stored is not available, a tray number of the specified APS object tray and the recommended size are displayed (S110). |
