PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-assembly power transformer of excellent economy in which a desired creepage distance can be ensured between coils, and there is no risk of dielectric breakdown when a large voltage is applied.SOLUTION: A power transformer includes a bottomed double cylindrical case 10, a first coil 17 housed between the inner tube and outer tube 12 of the case, a lid 20 closing the upper opening of the case, a second coil 27 arranged on the upper surface of the lid, and a core 30 surrounding the case and the second coil. The first coil 17 consists only of a round wire wound in multilayer, the lid 20 has cylindrical inner wall and outer wall 22 standing on a flat plate for mounting the second coil 27, and covering the inner periphery and outer periphery of the second coil 27. On the bottom plate of the case 10, a guide for guiding the end 17a of the first coil on the bottom plate side to the outer tube 12 side is formed, and a notch for pulling out the end 17a is formed in the outer tube 12. |
