PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and improved water cutoff structure and a construction method, allowing execution of construction of a liquid storage body in operation of the liquid storage body, and also allowing reduction of labor and cost required for the construction of the liquid storage body.SOLUTION: For solving the problem, according to a certain viewpoint of the present invention, a water cutoff structure is provided with a wall body for covering a periphery of a hollow part and an opening surface provided only in a part of the wall body and communicating with the hollow part, and is provided with a casing for allowing the opening surface to abut on a construction object place of an inner wall surface of the liquid storage body when inputted in the liquid storage body for storing liquid, an air conduction pipe having one end part connected to the hollow part of the casing and having the another end part arranged on a liquid level of the liquid and a liquid conduction pipe having one end part connected to the hollow part of the casing and having the another end part connected to a pump. |
