PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and accurately generate a light field by rendering by moving a rendering camera view to a projector view; and enable expression such as capturing the front from the rear of a graphic object by projecting vertices of the graphic object to a far interface.SOLUTION: The invention provides an apparatus and method for forming a light field image includes projecting vertices of a graphic object to a far interface corresponding to a first distance directed to a screen reproducing a light field, and forming the light field image with respect to the graphic object using the vertices of the graphic object projected to the far interface.
